QWOP. . . a fun fun game
So I use my blog to talk about my passions, like the R.E.M. song "Talk About the Passion". (It's a good song you should check it out). So another thing I'm super passionate about is. . . . (drum roll please). . . . THIS STUPID FUCKING COMPUTER GAME. Not a real computer with real objectives and story lines either, a reeeeeaaaaaaalllll dumb little online game that is comically difficult.

Now this game is great because you can play it in class and end up failing so hard at it that you focus on class again. For all of you who didn't click the link, you basically want to make the guy run by controlling the movements of his legs (why would you not click the link you have an excuse to play a dumb game during class). You might not think that that sounds all that hard and you would be WROOONNNGGGGG. I'm okay at this game, having gotten like 12 or 13ish meters before. Rafael has only gotten like 4ish meters (and that's on a good day). The goal is to get to 100. A HUNDRED METERS!
So there is a trick to this game, you have to alternate moving both parts of the legs at once and alternating that movement. Don't overshoot it, don't undershoot it, move when the other food is mostly on the ground, and even after all that you're still randomly going to fall either backwards or forwards from time to time shattering your hopes and dreams. On the plus side you can flail wildly as you fall on the track with your legs turning in ways they shouldn't be able to bend.
In summary this game is shit and I'm still going to play it way too often. It's not an addiction I CAN STOP AT ANYTIME, OKAY!?
Also Oregon trail is terrible and I have a goddamn snake bite again! AND BOBBY DIDN'T DIE OF EXHAUSTION!
Right so I have one update: at the end of ever blog I'm going to try to post a little drawing tip or something similar. I can't put it at the end of this one I might post a little one later this week but eh probably not. Putting the 'Art' in 'Artsy Pain" since last post when I did the whole post on drawing stuff.
